Her Story

Counseling is not a career

she fell into.

Mary earned her master's degree in 2022 and has spent the years since sitting with people on some of the hardest days of their lives. What she has learned is simple and hard to hold onto alone: people are not projects to be fixed, and healing rarely arrives on a schedule.

She works slowly and honestly. She will ask real questions, she will tell you the truth kindly, and she will not pretend that one conversation undoes years of hurt. What she can promise is that you will not have to carry it yourself while you are in her care.

Licensed Pastoral Counselor. Certified Temperament Counselor. Member of the National Christian Counselors Association, credential 24505, issued 2023.

Advanced Certification in Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy. Certification in Deliverance Ministry. Arno Profile System temperament analysis.

Mary draws on Christian counseling, family systems work, the Gottman Method for couples, and creative

approaches for the moments when words are not enough.

Faith and Clinical Work

Two things that were never meant to be separated.

Some counselors leave faith at the door. Others lead with it so strongly that there is no room left for the hard work. Mary does neither.

She is a Christian, and that shapes how she sees you: as someone with worth that your worst season cannot touch. That conviction is present whether or not a single verse is ever read aloud.

Beyond that, faith enters the room only as far as you invite it. Some clients open with prayer. Some work through Scripture that has been used against them. Some never raise it at all and get exactly the same care.

"Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person."

Faith is never used as a shortcut

Some people arrive having been hurt by the words below.

Not "you just need more faith"

Anxiety and grief are not spiritual failures. Treating them that way causes real harm, and Mary will not do it.

Not "just stay positive"

You are allowed to be angry, to doubt, and to say the ugly true thing out loud. That is where the actual work starts.

Not a substitute for care

When medication, a physician, or a higher level of care is what you need, Mary says so and helps you get there.

No clipboard interrogation. Mary asks what brought you in, then steps out of the way while you answer.

The temperament profile gives both of you real information on how you are wired on day one, rather than 3 months out.
