My walk with the Lord began at that tender age when the questions seem answerable, the hurts seem big but with so much energy and life and so little knowledge they do not stop the process of growing.  The scary hurts of alcoholism, suicide and rejection leave their mark deep in the heart and mind, though, and will demand to be dealt with.  Through years of poor coping skills, the heartaches of life invited me to come to a trust in Christ and His love that would transform the trajectory of my life.
